Rhys Pitchers

Rhys joined SCT in 2018 and has since worked on a diverse range of geotechnical engineering projects. He has experience as a site geotechnical engineer, and as a geotechnical consultant. His experience includes:

• Geotechnical characterisations of the underground mining environment.
• Subsidence impacts and predictions of underground mining operations.
• Numerical modelling (FLAC2D) of rock failure in roadway and longwall caving.
• Numerical modelling (FLAC3D) of various geological scenarios and the effect on underground mining operations.
