Adrian Moodie

Adrian has over 20 years’ mining operations, technical services and project management experience predominantly in underground coal, but also large scale open cut operations. Adrian’s strengths reside in the disciplines of geomechanics, mine planning and scheduling and project management. Adrian draws on all of these learned and applied skills to evaluate and manage risk, assess value, and develop optimisation strategies and synergies whilst assisting operations implement the outcomes in the most efficient manner. His expertise include:

• Geotechnical characterisation and ground support design for underground coal mines
• Mine operational planning and scheduling from short to long term
• Feasibility and optimisation studies
• Financial assessment and cost management including operating and capital budget development
• Risk management including risk assessment facilitation, and safety management plan development in both operational and technical contexts
• Operational and technical input into environmental assessments, studies and management plan development including Extraction or Subsidence Management Plans
• Construction project and contract management
